A field of 184 runners coming from as far afield as Yorkshire, Wales and the Netherlands.
Our Main Sponsor was Sturminster Newton and Blandford Leisure Centres and
the Manager, Toni Whight was there to start both races and present the
prizes.

Also a big thank you to all the water station and course marshals, who gave
up their time to help the runners around the course. Without them we would
not be able to hold this race.
The winner was Peter Roper, who lives in Shaftesbury and works for
Shaftesbury Leisure Centre. He used to run for the Doddlers but now runs for
Poole AC. He ran the race in a time of 1:11:03
The first local runner was Lisa Openshaw of Blandford Striders in a time of
1:46:43. She lives in Stalbridge.
Super Spot Prize donated by Oasis Overland of Hinton St. Mary a 10 Day
Trip in Egypt, was won by race position 164, Julie Blinkhorn of Lytchett
Manor Striders. She lives in Upton, Poole.
